When I had a baby on me and others within the cradle worked 12 hours a day cleaning floors and tear off wallpaper. Ha! It was beginning to be clear, but was still far from being completed. Then I began hosting open houses at my house where over 1 000 people would come through in the span of a weekend. They could buy anything they saw in the first floor. It was here that my business Growing Days was born. Growing Days was more than a thriving business but it was also a loving family. It was a balance between starting a business and becoming a mother. Growing Days just fit. In 2013, my daughter Nora became our fourth daughter. I was thrilled with where my company was taking me, but I felt like I needed a break. I decided to step back and stay in my home with my children. That was exactly what i needed. Within a couple of months, my phone started to ring. I was getting requests from people requesting for help in home improvement as well as interior design. The majority of them were people who visited my home in my open houses for furniture. In the course of my work, I added clients to my list one by one. It wasn't too long before I managed multiple clients and ran a successful home remodeling business. When you first spoke to me about my home renovation business I was astonished. Indeed, I am laughing at times when I think of the episode.
