Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9th, 1976 at Beaumont Puy in Domme. The parents of Audrey Tautou as a dentist as well as a teacher, understood and encouraged their daughter's love for acting and drama on an early stage. The support they provided is more than enough for Audrey to combat her goal of becoming a the first primatologist. The early success of her career and the rapid growth in popularity marked her as a young actor. Her career began in earnest at the age of 1999 when she started acting professionally. She is a keen photographer and produced a recent exhibition at The Arles International Festival titled Superficial. In her photographs, she focuses primarily on celebrity and the spotlight. The camera's focus is on journalists who examined her during her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's international success and fame soared after her appearance as Amelie Poulain's lead lady in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a global success at the box office and won awards around the globe. It's the highest-grossing French film to be released in the United States. In the following year, she appeared in British dramas, including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Junet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. In the following year, she moved to Hollywood where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
